A small team with big-screen experience
Prairie Chapel Productions is a husband-and-wife team, Josh and Maureen Timonen, with decades of experience in feature films, design and storytelling. We're passionate about work for the greater good, and we pick projects we believe in.
Filming on location across the U.S. and available to travel anywhere in the world. Josh Timonen
Director & Cinematographer
Josh has filmed broadcast documentaries, feature films and commercials since 2004, from the Galápagos for Channel 4 UK's The Genius of Charles Darwin to The Four Horsemen with Richard Dawkins (5M+ views). He has designed title sequences and composed original music for Hollywood features like Carjacked, Safe Harbor and Hallowed Ground, and created work for brands including Intel, eBay and Weber. Today he makes short documentaries for schools, nonprofits and businesses across America. His work with Richard Dawkins came before he found faith, a story he shares through Kingdom Quest Treasure Hunters.
Maureen started out at a Hollywood production company, working in distribution and marketing on campaigns, trailers and press materials. She went on to work in post-production on more than 100 feature films, including The Boondock Saints and major releases starring Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone. She's known for keeping projects on budget and making everyone on camera feel at ease. Today she produces films alongside her husband, Josh, for clients across the country.
